Back in Balance has partnered with Rise Bodyworks to bring Pilates to our office's studio on Grand Avenue in Oakland! We have five Alegro 2 reformers from Balanced Body, high quality pieces of equipment that will help you get a challenging but gentle workout.
Pilates is a subtle, surprisingly difficult workout that will improve your core strength, balance & stability, and assist in improving posture. We encourage our patients to take Pilates classes to improve mobility of the hips, rehab from lower back injuries, and as a way to improve fitness and prevent future injury.
Several classes are offered per week, with up to five students max in each class. We also offer personal sessions with individual instructors.
